There's been so much debate in the exercise science community about what is good fuelling post exercise, it'd make your head spin.
For most normal humans, those who are not trying to become the next olympic champion, or preparing for a magazine photoshoot...
we have a simple refuelling strategy.
1. Consume SOMETHING within 60 to 90 minutes after your workout...
Seriously That's it!
Just doing that would be a good refuelling strategy...
But what if you wanted to do it better?
I presume you want to take a slightly more advanced step.
The Lean Greens Super Advanced Refuelling Strategy For Normal People
1. If you’re going eat 'dirty' carbs at any point in the day (eg. cake, bread, pasta, cookies)... do it within 60-90 minutes after your exercise.
2. Consume a high quality whey protein isolate drink (preferably one you like the taste of)
I love cake. A lot.
But eating it makes me fat, slow and lardy.
