Now, to make this you have to work reasonably quickly once you mix the egg and the psyllium husks because it does get thicker and thicker the longer you leave it.
Heat about half a teaspoon of coconut oil in a small frying pan.
Then mix one egg with a level dessert spoon of psyllium husk. You’ll see that really quickly it starts to get quite gloopy.
While it’s still runny, you pour it into the pan and almost like you’re making a crepe or pancake, and swirl it around. As it starts to set you can use your spatula, in the same way that they make crepes, to move the runny mixture around a little bit just to fill in any gaps so you don’t have a holy wrap.
It should set pretty quickly, and we should be able to just flip it over. I think the trick to this is to get the pan hot enough. I was a little bit impatient. But hopefully this is enough to show you the general idea in order to create one that looks more like that, and less like a splat.
But there we go, So that is basically how you make a psyllium wrap, and then you can pop anything you would have on a sandwich in it. I was gonna have this one with a little bit of smoked salmon cream cheese and some spinach. So that is a quick and easy alternative to bread hack.
