So, first up, these are all pretty easy to get a hold of these days in your local health food store. You may even find kefir in your supermarket. The one we tried is Bio Live drink. So, a bit like when we were talking about the natural yoghurt, this one has in it just milk and kefir culture.
You can make your own kefir. I did that a few years ago. You can buy a culture, mix it with milk. You leave it a couple of days in a jar on the side and it ferments and creates kefir.
This brand is quite thick and I really like the taste of it because I love creamy things, and this is really nice and thick and creamy.
Some of them can be a little more Lumpy.
Cottage cheesy, let’s say. So, this one, you could drink it. You could have it on top of cereal. You could have it instead of yoghurt. You can also put it in smoothies. It has a really nice, pleasant, smooth taste. So, that’s kefir.
