If you Google lemon water, hot water with lemon you’ll find lots of health benefits and lots of things about detoxing and blah, blah, blah. I like it ’cause some mornings you just feel you need something a little bit fresh.
You know just listen to your body and some mornings you don’t want a cup of coffee first thing, some mornings hot water and a squeeze of lemon juice is incredibly refreshing.
If you’re like me and you tend to leave half drunk cups of tea around the house, when you have hot water and lemon you can just top it up with extra hot water and it still tastes really good.
So if you are having hot water and lemon, try putting a wee squeeze of lemon juice into your Lean Greens, gives it a little bit of added lemony zing, makes it takes more like a lemon green tea, cold tea.
So kettles boiled, I’ve made my Lean Greens. Now I have my hot water and lemon.
Some people like to put a slice of lemon in, I just give mine a good squeeze, I don’t like putting the lemon itself in because otherwise you end up with, it can be a bit bitter from the skin. Then if you’ve got a bit of a cold, hot water and lemon with some honey in there. Or if it’s night time you could add something else in there and make it a hot toddy.
